PCB (Circuit Board)
The PCB (circuit board) is a critical component of a safe and high-quality lithium-ion battery pack. Our PCBs typically integrate five levels of protection, over-temperature, over-current, over-discharge, over-charge, and short-circuit. All PCBs are customizable.
A PCM (Protection circuit module) is found in small-format packs while BMS (Battery management system) in medium to large format packs. A BMS typically includes cell balancing and a communication protocol like I2C or SMBus. Our circuit boards are compatible with all lithium-ion batteries, including the 18650 battery, the LiPo battery, and newer sizes like the 2170 battery.
